Vision & Purpose
An engagement process was conducted with the social and emotional wellbeing (SEWB) workforce and other stakeholders to develop the core functionality of the Centre. This was conducted in 2019.

VISION
To embed the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander wellbeing model within the mental health sector, services are culturally safe, ensuring that there isn’t a wrong door for Aboriginal people to access support and services which will assist in their healing and recovery.

PURPOSE
Lead - Provide Aboriginal leadership in building an evidence base, advocacy and advice in leading Aboriginal Social and Emotional Wellbeing reform in Victoria
Empower - The workforce (both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal) through training, tools and promising practice to enhance knowledge and practice of methods that embed the elements of social and emotional wellbeing
Collaborate - Aboriginal communities, ACCOs, other Aboriginal stakeholders, mainstream providers and Governments to ensure that all services are working towards providing culturally safe social and emotional wellbeing services
